Job Summary:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to enhance our team in the role of General Labourer. This is a fixed term position till the end of December 2025.
Applicants must be based locally and able to commute to the Oakville/Mississauga border.
Hours:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading garments onto machines for production
- Checking and counting garments at the end of the dryer for damages or issues
- Able to follow instructions and production schedules as well as adhere to all standard operating procedures and meet the expected production goals.
- Perform a visual inspection of garments to maintain quality assurance and an acceptable defect rate.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work Mon - Fri - minimum of 37.5 hours/week.
- Ability to work on your feet for a full 8- 10 hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to work without supervision
- Respectful of health and safety policies and procedures
- Positive attitude motivated and professional
- English communication skills (verbal) are required
