How youll contribute
The Pharmacy Technician under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist according to all regulatory and accrediting and facility standards dispenses medications and maintains the inventory supplies and organization of the pharmacy.
ABusiness Office Managerwho excels in this role:
Fills orders with correct medications.
Delivers medications to patient care areas and automated dispensing machines accurately and timely.
Procures pharmaceutical and related supplies per contractual terms.
Maintains appropriate pharmacy inventory levels
Prepares pharmaceutical preparations including unit-dosing medication and properly labeling any dispensed medications.
Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to patient computes charges and enters data in computer.
Generates required reports (e.g. pick list expiring medications).

Applicants should possess:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Licenses/Certification:Current State Certification/Licensure as required by state.
