Skills & Qualifications
2 year Associates Degree or Apprenticeship Certificate in an Industrial Maintenance Electrical or Automated Controls Specialty is required or an equivalent documented training.
Demonstrate knowledge of electrical power sources and their characteristics. Should have working experience with the National Electrical Code-NEC
Full understanding of the International Fire Code-IFC to include the National Fire Protection Association-NFPA specifically associated with NFPA-409
Full understanding of the International Building Code-IBC
Preferred working knowledge of large overhead doors (to include very large Hangar doors) HVAC systems boilers high and low voltage systems fire protection systems (specific to aircraft hangar systems preferredEncapsulated Agents) and hardware control circuits plumbing hardware etc
Preferred knowledge working with Hazard Control Technologies-HCT

Summary
This position is responsible for the direct oversight preventive maintenance and repair of facilities based equipment associated with an Aircraft Hangar supporting office building and specialty shops.
Tasks & Accountabilities
Must be proficient in reading and comprehending electrical schematics and diagrams for troubleshooting electrical systems
Will utilize hand tools electrical testing equipment including voltmeters amp probes meggers and computers in the performance of daily duties
Working knowledge relating to the daily use of Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Graphical Display Units (GDU) applications
This position requires excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Will occasionally be required to operate forklifts scissor lifts snorkel/boom lifts pallet jacks and small conveyance vehicles. Cannot have a fear of heights or elevated structures
Must have adequate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook)
Must be a self-starter with limited need for direct oversight to accomplish assigned duties and tasks
