DescriptionADI Global Distribution is seeking an Associate Category Manager to support the Category Manager in driving strategy product roadmap strategic supplier relationships growth and profitability for high-value product categories such as Video and Intrusion. This individual will assist in developing and executing product mix and pricing models while helping manage supplier relationships. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Collaborate with the Category Manager to implement effective marketing communications that drive performance in the Video and Intrusion categories.
- Initiate requests to update the ERP system regarding stocking profiles product lifecycle cost pricing and inventory actions to remove obsolete stock.
- Research competitive product offerings market pricing and industry technology trends by working cross-functionally with Strategic Marketing Pricing Sales Customers and Vendors.
- Initiate stock balancing requests for IOS (Inactive Obsolete and Surplus) products and execute inventory liquidation strategies for related categories.
- Generate reports on sales performance promotional effectiveness inventory efficiency and gross margin for the Video and Intrusion categories.
- Perform administrative duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
- Liaise with the sales team to understand market trends and customer needs.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Fluency in both English and Dutch.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Business acumen.
