The University of Chicagos Department of Pediatrics Section of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics seeks experienced board certified developmental-behavioral pediatricians and general pediatricians to join our multidisciplinary care team at the University of Chicago campus and at UChicago Medicine Crown Point as Clinical Associates at 100% effort with renewable terms of up to three years. Appointees will manage the care of pediatric patients who may present with a full range of developmental and behavioral conditions. Clinics are held on the University of Chicago campus at the Comer Childrens Hospital clinic and at the UChicago Crown Point clinic located in Crown Point IN. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment qualified applicants must have: 1) a medical doctorate or equivalent 2) have or be eligible for medical licensure in the States of Illinois and Indiana and 3) be either BC/BE in Pediatrics or BC/BE in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
Preference given to applicants with an interest in developmental diagnostics for autism intellectual disability sequelae of prematurity critical illness learning disorders and ADHD. We also welcome applicants who have a graduate degree in public health health informatics or a related field.
