The TREE manager will oversee future team members develop the program and schedule and serve as the programs representative for marketing and recruiting both participants and employees. The TREE Program Manager will work with youth and adults ages 16-21. You will prepare them to be independent by implementing campus-based businesses planning and preparing meals doing laundry learning to use public transportation utilizing the NextUp curriculum and ultimately obtaining paid employment. There are opportunities to schedule volunteer activities or community involvement for the participants.

Essential Job Functions

  • Implement treatment plans and IEPs in an appropriate manner as directed by the clinician and teacher.
  • Provide a clean safe environment while teaching participants to do the same.
  • Build participants self-advocacy skills.
  • Shape relationships with participants their families and school district representatives.
  • Teach skills that will lead to independence.
  • Lead participants in NextUp curriculum.
  • Plan outings job shadowing opportunities guest speakers etc. based on participants interests.
  • As the program grows train and supervise Youth Treatment Counselors (YTC) in the TREE program.
  • Build and maintain collaborative partners.
  • Complete thorough documentation.
  • Develop schedule for the TREE program participants and supervisees.
  • As the program grows hire employees as needed to implement TREE program.
  • Provide regularly scheduled supervision with supervisees.
  • Identify and support YTC training of agency policies and procedures Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) Trauma Informed Care (TIC) Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) and milieu management through on the floor training mentoring and coaching.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-hire physical.
  • Implement behavioral interventions as needed.

Working Conditions

  • In-person on-campus work/school and treatment environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.A. degree in Human Services/related field or equivalent experience required
  • Experience with youth or adults ages 16-21 with special needs
  • All candidates must have or qualify to obtain a current Colorado drivers license (Must obtain license within 30 days of employment)
  • All positions require criminal CBI background check FBI fingerprint check State of CO child abuse check DMV driving record check pre-employment drug test pre-employment physical academic credential verification and reference check
