Job Summary
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Oneida/Huntsville is accepting applications for the position of part-time Welding Technology Adjunct Instructor to be located at the Huntsville campus. Classes will be held Monday Tuesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. A high standard of personal and professional ethics with a sincere interest in teaching is desired.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
Post-secondary diploma or certificate from an accredited technical training program in the welding field
Three (3) years experience in the welding field within the last five (5) years
Preferred Qualifications
AWS or other industry-recognized certification
Teaching experience
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective teacher
Computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office applications email etc.)
Indication of willingness to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students staff and business/industry personnel
Commitment to remaining current with industry practices through professional development activities
Ability to travel and/or work after school activities such as graduation in-service etc.
Salary
Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology and Tennessee Board of Regents salary guidelines.
