Role Summary
Arundel Ford is seeking a friendly and experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team. This role serves as the bridge between customers and technicians ensuring that each vehicle receives proper care and that every customer leaves satisfied. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair and the ability to deliver top-tier customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally in the service lane
Gather customer and vehicle information to determine service needs
Clearly communicate vehicle issues and maintenance recommendations
Prepare accurate estimates for labor and parts
Establish realistic follow-up times and update customers regularly on repair status
Verify that completed repairs meet dealership and customer expectations
Review final invoices and explain work performed to customers
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
Maintain accurate service records and assist with warranty documentation
Collaborate with technicians and management to streamline the service process
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Service Advisor Assistant Lane Manager or Service Consultant preferred
Ford or dealership experience is a plus
Strong communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of vehicle systems maintenance schedules and repair processes
Proven ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy service department
Positive energetic personality with a professional attitude
Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
