Workshop Manager Independent Garage 40-50K Bonus Mon-Fri 86 Family-Run Business - Farnborough Area

Are you a seasoned automotive professional ready to step into a leadership role Were working with a successful independent garage thats proud of its family-run roots modern approach and strong reputation in the community and theyre on the lookout for a hands-on Workshop Manager to join the team!

The Role:

Youll take the reins of a busy modern workshop leading and supporting a team of 67 skilled technicians. This is a key position within the business where youll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of operations and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate the daily workload of the workshop
Support and motivate a team of 67 technicians
Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion
Use TechMan (fully digital system) to manage workflow
Assist with parts ordering and stock control
Liaise with customers where necessary and ensure excellent service
Maintain high standards of health & safety and compliance

What Were Looking For:

Experience in an independent garage is essential
Strong technical background helpful (either as a technician or similar role)
Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a big plus
Familiarity with TechMan or similar workshop management systems
Organised hands-on and great with people

The Package:

Basic salary: (depending on experience)
Bonus scheme available
Monday to Friday only 8am to 6pm
20 days holiday bank holidays
Work with a tight-knit family-run team
Modern workshop with digitised systems throughout
