The Role:

Were looking for a passionate and curious Lab Manager to join our team. What Youll Do:

• Lead a cross-site team of multiple Lab Associates responsible for preparing media and process solutions to support bench- and pilot-scale experimentation.

• Train and mentor junior staff. Support team members in procedure and protocol execution.

• Coordinate support function logistics to ensure on-time and compliant delivery for internal customers while maintaining a clean organized and safe laboratory space

• Maintain systems for inventory and equipment tracking and champion continuous improvement solutions. Regularly inventory lab supplies and place orders.

• Work with vendors and manufacturers on custom supplies and troubleshooting

• Maintain regular attendance at Seattle and Redmond sites to meet with cross-site team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience scheduling and completing lab support activities.

• Experience training others and leading teams

• Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Drive Suite applications.

• Ability to lift 40 pounds with assistance

• Experience developing systems for management of lab inventory or handling user requests.

• Experience with 6S/Lean or other methodology for efficiency.

• Experience setting team strategy and successfully managing team goals

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $90000 to $109000; Base salary offered may vary depending on individuals skills experience and competitive market value.
