More Specific Duties Include:
- Calibrate and inspect production machinery using precision instruments.
- Implement and manage preventive maintenance procedures to ensure equipment longevity and reliability.
- Lead maintenance and repair operations for CNC machinery EDM machines Computer measurement machines hydroforming presses air compressors and chillers.
- Develop repair strategies and guide maintenance staff in troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates for the installation of new systems (electrical pneumatic and hydraulic).
- Support supervision in maintaining equipment and ensuring production efficiency
- Work directly with the test technicians providing technical guidance and support as necessary in test methods equipment and test set-ups.
- Interface directly with the Systems Engineers and Project Engineers to assist in the development of test procedures including production and acceptance testing.
- Supervise the design construction and testing of 480VAC power distribution and motor controls (Starter / Soft Start / VFD / etc.) Familiarity with medium voltage up to 15KV.
- Interpret and perform power distribution load study short circuit analysis and arc flash analysis based on NFPA 70E.
- Project lead in defining project scope determining the best engineering solution estimating costs and providing detailed engineering design for facility additions and modifications.
- Provide direction for the successful completion of development test stations/programs and to ensure compliance with test requirements through the development and support of processes plans and procedures.
- Diagnosis maintenance and repair of all type of manufacturing equipment to include multiple axis CNC & manual machines mills lathes CMM balance inspection laser-welders plasma spray heat treat welding Electrostatic Discharge Machines (EDM) X-Ray robotic drills grinders hone lap debur etc.
- Diagnosis maintenance and repair of all types of facility equipment include air compressors facilities electrical/ plumbing mechanical systems HVAC process environmental material handling grounds etc.
- Read interpret maintain and create accurate and reliable hydraulic electrical electronic mechanical and other related equipment documentation as required.
- Participate as needed in establishing methods of equipment setup and testing to include leveling inspection calibration alignments performance and other procedures to ensure manufactured parts are machined according to engineering tolerances/specifications.
- Perform labeling Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) development lockout procedures oiling & coolant functions chip collection hazardous waste handling and other general duties as required.
- Communicate change of shift turnover and communication requirements to ensure all team members receive accurate and reliable information and documentation for a smooth transition.
- Train and assist operators with routine TPM maintenance service items to meet specific equipment requirements.
- Adhere to all current security safety health and environmental standards and regulations.
- Participate in the mentoring training and development of other maintenance and cellular manufacturing associates to promote the improvement of continuous quality in all manufacturing operations.
- Responsible for handling chemicals and waste both hazardous and nonhazardous as defined by OSHA EPA and DOT.
M-F 40 hrs./wk. 8:00 am 5:00 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Degree (U.S. or Foreign)
2 years of experience as an aerospace gas turbine engineering technician or related experience with gas turbine engines.
2 years of experience manufacturing gas turbine engines for aerospace applications using Fanuc Siemens and Linux software.
2 years of experience programming using setting up and repairing CNC lathes mills and assembly fixtures.
2 years of experience in dimensional and visual inspection and preliminary review of materials.
