The Oracle Server Database Consultant will provide technical consulting and managed services to a wide range of customers locally in Australia and New Zealand as a key member of our Database practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end Oracle EBS 12.2 database and application tier support
- Administer and support Oracle WebLogic Serverused in EBS 12.2 (App Tier)
- Perform WebLogic activitiesincluding start/stop patching support configuration and troubleshooting
- Lead and execute Oracle database migrations and upgrades including:
- Plan and execute on-prem to cloud migrationson:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- AWS
- Perform pre-migration assessments cutover planning rollback strategies and post-migration validation
- Administer Oracle databases (10gR2 11gR2 12c 19c) across on-prem and cloud
- Manage Oracle databases on HP-UX and Linux platforms
- Implement and support Oracle RAC ASM and Grid Infrastructure
- Configure and maintain Oracle Data Guard (Physical & Logical Standby)
- Implement and support Oracle GoldenGatefor migration and replication
- Monitor database and application tier performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
- Perform database performance tuningusing AWR ADDM SQL Trace TKPROF
- Ensure high availability security backup recovery and DR readiness
- Participate in cutover execution DR drills and production support
