As Head of Pharma Science NAM leverage analytical experience for biologics and advanced therapies to serve as the organizations scientific authority and client-facing this role he will ensure the highest standards of analytical rigor across CMC while partnering with the commercial organization to translate technical capabilities into differentiated value for clients.
- Provide strategic scientific direction for analytical development quality control and control strategies across biologics viral vectors and advanced modalities
- Support the design and implementation of analytical methods comparability studies and regulatory strategies to ensure successful INDBLA/MAA submissions.
- Champion deployment of advanced analytical technologies to drive innovation compliance and product quality.
- Partner with Head of NAM Pharma to create a NAM growth strategy to include both identifying potential acquisition targets as well as organic growth opportunities across Pharma sites.
- Serve as the primary scientific partner to the commercial team representing analytical expertise in client discussions and project scoping.
- Help to Builds new business and maintain current business by interaction with prospective and current clients

- Translate complex scientific concepts into clear compelling value propositions tailored to client and market needs.
- Provide technical guidance and support to sales team members for study design and cost proposals.
- Work with clients to design studies to meet regulatory needs and maintain relationship with scientific counterpart on the client team.
- Represent SGS as industry thought leader engaging with customers regulators and industry forums to strengthen the companys reputation for scientific excellence.
- Collaborates with the operations team to ensure studies are conducted in accordance with the study protocol.
- Partner with sales and operational teams to create a sales strategy for successful partnership with CDMOs; help build and maintain CDMO relationships.
- Attend scientific and trade organization meetings to represent SGS this may be presenting podium or poster papers and engaging with clients during the event.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Ph.D. in a scientific discipline
- 20 years in analytical development for biologics proteins and advanced therapies.
- Proven success in delivering INDs and BLA/MAA approvals with FDA/EMA.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams while engaging with commercial and client stakeholders.
