The role
As part of our growing Brisbane team you will:
Produce accurate civil drawings and documentation using AutoCAD
Coordinate with engineers architects surveyors and consultants to ensure plans are accurate and integrated
Interpret specifications and engineering documentation to deliver practical compliant designs
Conduct site inspections and incorporate findings into design updates
Maintain high standards of accuracy quality and compliance in all drafting outputs
Manage drawing files version control and documentation workflows
Contribute to design reports cost estimates and supporting project documentation
Stay current with industry standards modelling techniques and relevant legislation
Mentor junior drafters and support drafting teams across STP offices
Contribute to improving drafting systems tools and processes
About you
We are looking for a skilled proactive and detail-focused draftsperson who takes pride in delivering quality work and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
You will bring:
5 years of civil drafting experience preferably within a consulting environment
An Associate Degree Advanced Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering/Drafting
Strong AutoCAD skills and the ability to interpret engineering documentation
Knowledge of local and statutory requirements Australian Standards and relevant legislation
Proven ability to work independently manage your time effectively and contribute positively to team outcomes
Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for accuracy document control and drafting standards
