An innovative and fast-expanding veterinary network is seeking a collaborative and experienced Veterinarian Medical Operations Partner to support four hospitals in the Tampa/Sarasota Florida market. This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled veterinarian who is passionate about leadership team development and delivering exceptional patient care.
This position is perfect for an Associate Veterinarian ready to take the next step into regional leadership or for an experienced DVM seeking a broader platform to make an impact. The Veterinarian Medical Operations Partner will balance clinical practice with operational leadership mentoring fellow doctors supporting hospital operations and contributing to growth and success across multiple locations.
Champion Clinical Excellence
Dedicate 75100% of time to direct patient care building a personal caseload.
Provide case consultations surgical and dental mentorship and clinical support to DVMs.
Enhance client satisfaction through process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Build and Engage the Veterinary Community
Foster a supportive collaborative and growth-focused culture.
Partner with leadership on strategic planning and operational initiatives.
Mentor new graduate veterinarians and guide their professional development.
Participate in recruiting interviewing and onboarding efforts.
Drive Operational Success
Collaborate on scheduling staffing and hospital flow efficiency.
Review performance metrics and support budget/resource management.
Ensure quality standards are consistently met across all hospitals.
Ensure Compliance and Quality Assurance
Conduct inspections and uphold a culture of high-quality care.
Maintain regulatory compliance including DEA oversight.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree.
Active veterinary license in the state of assigned hospitals.
35 years of clinical experience.
DEA license (or ability to obtain).
Strong leadership mentorship and collaboration skills.
Ability to travel occasionally within the region (company-paid).
Time Allocation: Primarily clinical (75100%) with 025% administrative/leadership duties.
Schedule: Four-day work week with production potential.
Travel: Regional travel required to support assigned hospitals.
