The University of Chicagos Department of Radiology is expanding and searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will have responsibilities in all aspects of abdominal imaging including interpretation of CT MRI US performance of abdomen/pelvis fluoroscopy and image guided biopsies. The appointees will also participate in a variety of interdisciplinary conferences in order to build collaborative relationships across campus. Other duties will include training and supervision of medical students residents and fellows. This position is based at the University of Chicago Medicines Hyde Park campus where the appointee will spend most of their time. This role involves patient care delivery across other University of Chicago Medicine (UCM) sites in downtown Chicago and Northwest Indiana and may require occasional travel. Remote days are included weekly. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and the State of Indiana 3) be Board certified or eligible in Radiology and 4) have completed a Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging or have equivalent experience.
