Key Responsibilities:

• With general autonomy manages implementation of the MTS IR&D program in support of growth team goals developing communicating and implementing processes and supporting tools and methods.
• Develops analyzes and models program data and operational metrics to enable reporting and decision making.
• Recommends solutions to new and complex problems develops innovative strategies quantifies the competitive performance of the organizations operations and/or markets evaluates the potential impact of changes and reports on forecasts that affect the industry/organization.
• Ensures research and design methodologies meet established corporate policy scientific and engineering standards.
• Individual Contributor recognized as a Senior Expert. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design implementation or delivery of processes programs and policies. Requires specialized depth of expertise in own discipline.
• Anticipates internal and external business challenges and/or regulatory/compliance issues.
• Recommends process product or service improvements.
• Solves unique and complex problems that requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions.
• May advise teams and manage projects with broad visibility to achieve milestones and objectives.
• Develops the strategy for project execution.
• Typically operates with broad latitude in a complex environment.

Work Environment:

• Location: On-site
• Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
• Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

• Active SECRET security clearance
• Bachelors degree in related technical field and at least 20 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in related technical field.
