We work with a Prague-based crypto exchange on a fast track to full MiCA and DORA compliance. Theyre building a secure user-friendly platform for seamless fiat crypto trading completely from scratch and with zero legacy baggage.

Location: Hybrid (3 days/week) in Prague Czech Republic
The Role
Were looking for a hands-on IT Manager to lead all things at the company as they prepare to launch a fully regulated crypto exchange. This role combines strategic ownership with operational responsibility from infrastructure and cybersecurity to platform architecture and vendor oversight.
Youll work closely with compliance and leadership to ensure full alignment with MiCA and DORA requirements. Fluency in Czech is essential as this is a senior role embedded in both local operations and regulatory communication.
What Youll Do
- Own the technical strategy and ensure full alignment with MiCA and DORA compliance
- Lead and scale Coineras tech operations infrastructure cybersecurity architecture and vendor selection
- Design and implement robust ICT risk management and digital operational resilience frameworks
- Oversee key areas like incident response access controls backup systems and threat testing (incl. TLPT)
- Collaborate closely with compliance legal and external advisors on regulatory tech matters
- Manage third-party risk across all tech partners including due diligence and contract reviews
- Prepare technical input for audits regulatory submissions and internal risk reports
- Build and mentor the internal tech team including front-end and back-end developers
- Represent the tech function in cross-functional leadership discussions and external communication
What You Bring to the Table
- Proven experience in a senior tech leadership role ideally within fintech crypto or other regulated environments
- Understanding of MiCA DORA and EU-level digital operational resilience standards
- Strong background in infrastructure security and risk management frameworks (ISO 27001 NIST etc.)
- Hands-on approach to architecture systems design and vendor oversight
- Comfortable navigating audits regulatory reporting and incident handling
- Fluency in Czech and professional-level English (both required)
- Strong cross-functional communication skills able to work closely with legal compliance and product
- Α builder mindset practical resourceful and capable of leading in a fast-moving early-stage environment
- Ability to start asap
