The Company

The company is a well-established international financial group currently expanding its crypto business in the Czech Republic and preparing to apply for the MiCA license.

The Role

The team is looking for a Managing Director to lead its Czech entity drive market growth and ensure regulatory compliance. This is a strategic leadership position with direct responsibility for operations financial performance and building trusted relationships with regulators. Youll play a key role in shaping the exchange from its early stages with the chance to grow the local team as the business scales.

What Youll Do

Lead and manage overall business operations in Czechia ensuring alignment with group strategy
Act as the main point of contact with Czech regulators ensuring compliance with MiCA AML and KYC frameworks
Oversee financial planning budgeting and reporting to ensure sustainable growth
Build lead and mentor a high-performing team as operations expand
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to strengthen market position
Ensure customer trust and satisfaction through secure compliant and seamless services

What You Bring to the Table

Solid experience in senior management roles ideally within fintech payments or crypto
In-depth knowledge of Czech and EU financial/crypto regulatory frameworks
Proven experience in stakeholder management leadership and operational oversight
Bachelors or Masters in Business Finance Law or related field
Fluent Czech (essential) and strong English communication skills
Based in Prague

Salary range 4500-6000 EUR NET / monthly
Initially remote; later hybrid in the Prague office
