Overview
Join Element as a Project Engineer Controls Engineering
Be part of our fast-growing Business Improvement Team driving innovation and productivity across our labs. This hybrid role offers the chance to lead impactful projects with minimal supervision focusing on automation IoT and cutting-edge technology.
Location: Fairfield Ohio
Responsibilities
- Enhance and support Element-built test machines using B&R Automation hardware/software.
- Develop and maintain custom IoT solutions using JavaScript and off-the-shelf platforms like myDevices.
- Troubleshoot and upgrade software/electrical systems to boost lab performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT Data Science Software Engineering and Operations teams.
- Apply sound engineering judgment to design implement and improve technical solutions.
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- 3 years in industrial automation and controls.
- Experience with B&R Automation (a plus).
- Strong skills in control systems electrical design and IoT technologies.
- Proficient in programming languages (Structured Text Java HTML C C# MySQL).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- U.S. citizenship required; some travel involved.
