Join Element as a Project Engineer Controls Engineering


Be part of our fast-growing Business Improvement Team driving innovation and productivity across our labs. This hybrid role offers the chance to lead impactful projects with minimal supervision focusing on automation IoT and cutting-edge technology.

Location: Fairfield Ohio

Responsibilities

  • Enhance and support Element-built test machines using B&R Automation hardware/software.
  • Develop and maintain custom IoT solutions using JavaScript and off-the-shelf platforms like myDevices.
  • Troubleshoot and upgrade software/electrical systems to boost lab performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT Data Science Software Engineering and Operations teams.
  • Apply sound engineering judgment to design implement and improve technical solutions.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
  • 3 years in industrial automation and controls.
  • Experience with B&R Automation (a plus).
  • Strong skills in control systems electrical design and IoT technologies.
  • Proficient in programming languages (Structured Text Java HTML C C# MySQL).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • U.S. citizenship required; some travel involved.
