Job Summary
Software Engineer II
FTE only No C2C
Location:4 days/week onsite in Merrifield VA Mosaic District
ASCENDING Inc is anAdvanced AWS partnerspecializing in a variety of services and solutions surrounding Cloud Migrations custom web app development data analytics/big data and DevOps. We are currently looking for anSoftware Engineer IIto join our consulting services group.
The ideal candidate will have4 years of experience in a Software Engineering roleworking with any of the following languages;Python Java and/or NodeJS. The ideal candidate will also have a willingness to learn and work with a variety of languages that depend on the particular client engagement.HeavyAWSexperience will also be necessary for this role.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related discipline
- Experience inOOP with Python Java and/or NodeJS
- Have Experience on setting upEnd to End Infrastructure on AWS.
- HaveDevOpormicro ServicesonAWSis a big Plus!
- Heavy AWSexperience(Certification Preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
