POSITION: Business Development Manager
LOCATION: San Ramon CA 90% Remote
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-Time
SALARY RANGE: $135000 - $150000 OTE: $200000
Our client is committed to delivering compassionate high-quality care to seniors and their families. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth efforts and expand their footprint in San Ramon and the East Bay.
This role is best suited for a strategic results-driven professional who thrives on building referral networks growing census and forging long-term partnerships. If youre passionate about connecting seniors with the care they deserve this is an opportunity to make a direct impact.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain referral networks with physicians hospitals assisted living communities skilled nursing facilities case managers and social workers.
- Represent the organization at community events including health fairs networking functions senior expos and professional associations.
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies through in-person visits presentations and relationship management.
- Track and analyze referral patterns competitor activity and market conditions to refine sales strategies.
- Partner with intake and clinical teams to ensure a smooth referral-to-admission process that reflects a commitment to client care.
- Report business development outcomes and provide insights on opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Healthcare Administration or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of business development or sales experience in home health hospice senior living or related healthcare. Prior management experience is preferred.
- Established referral network in San Ramon/East Bay strongly preferred.
- Proven record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and driving census growth.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities across territories.
- Self-motivated goal-oriented and effective working both independently and collaboratively.
- Valid drivers license reliable transportation and ability to travel within assigned territory.
