Job Summary
In the engineering department within the Off-Highway Truck (OHT) department we are looking for a mechanical engineer in charge of developing the mechanical braking system.
Missions:
- Sizing design development and integration of the mechanical braking system (wet-disc brakes) and its related systems (cooling actuation)
- Consider the interactions between braking system and drive systems for all driving situations
- Consider also the normative and functional safety requirements cost reliability
- Write technical specifications for systems and components write engineering guidelines
- Write functional specifications
- Establish single-line diagrams
- Participate to the development of new systems and/or components in collaboration with our suppliers and our internal/external development partners
- CAD design of parts and complete build groups of the machine integrate new components in collaboration with other engineering groups across multiple factories release CAD parts and bill of materials
- Establish test requests and participate to the tests and the validation of the components and the systems
Profile:
- Mechanical engineer with 3-5 years of experience in designing mechanical components/systems
- Knowledge in mechanical design hydraulics thermal calculations
- Knowledge in multi-physic systems simulation (MATLAB Simulink)
- Experience with PTC Creo
- International experience USA AUS German speaking countries
- Fluent in English good knowledge in German
