Ideally youll bring experience in carpentry as your core trade with additional skills in plumbing would be a great bonus! But dont worry if you dont cover all trades we still want to hear from you.

What are the pay and benefits

  • The salary for this role is 32512 for a 40 hour full time permanent position
  • Work Van and fuel card
  • 26 days holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays rising to 30 days with length of service
  • Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days or the option of compressed hours on a 9 day fortnight
  • It is essential for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence
  • Base is Swansea however you will cover the areas of West Wales.
  • The successful candidate will need a basic DBS check in place which we pay for.

What is great about the role

As a Multi Skilled Engineer youll deliver top-notch repairs and maintenance services to our properties. Whether working individually or as part of a dynamic team youll handle a diverse range of building maintenance tasks. Your primary focus will be on our reactive maintenance team carrying our day to day repairs for our tenanted properties. Occasionally you may lend your expertise to other areas of the business such as voids or planned maintenance.

What skills and experience do you need

  • Proven Expertise: Showcase your carpentry skills with experience in both domestic and commercial settings. As this is a Multi Skilled role we require you to have a secondary skill preferably in Plumbing
  • Qualifications: Provide evidence of relevant qualifications and experience to excel in your role.
  • Effective Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills essential for interacting with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Safety Awareness: Maintain a keen awareness of health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Initiative and Positivity: Show initiative and maintain a positive outlook contributing to our positive connected and considerate workplace culture.
  • Tech: You will be required to utilise an electronic handheld device alongside some admin responsibilities for the role too.
