Job Summary
Waters Edge Lodge is looking for a Prep-Cook/Cook!
We are looking for someone to work some prep- and some cook shifts to make full-time work.
Prep days are $19.50 per hour cook days are $22.00 per hour
This is a great position for someone who wants to start moving up in the back of house!
The primary functions of the Prep-Cook are:
- Food prep and portioning prior to service
- Stock shelves with incoming supplies
- Perform routine cleaning tasks
- Washing dishes and helping maintain a clean kitchen environment
The primary functions of the Cook are:
- Cook and prepare menu items in accordance with provided menus
- Meeting visual service standards including proper plating and service of menu items
- Ensuring compliance with prescribed diets
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of kitchen environment
We are looking forfull-time working on a rotating schedule of 4 days on 2 days off
Minimum qualifications are:
- 18 years of age
- Ability to work effectively with all personality types
- Knowledge of kitchen machines and utensils
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements in food preparation and serving
- Ability to cook bake and prepare food in large quantities
- Ability to follow menus including those with special diets
- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Push/pull 75 pounds up to 100 feet
Employment requirements include:
- Current COVID-19 vaccination
