Job Summary

 What you will be doing:

  • Confirm all event-related details with clients to ensure accuracy and alignment with expectations.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships before during and after events to encourage repeat business.
  • Coordinate all elements of convention bookings including meeting space guest room blocks food and beverage arrangements and audiovisual requirements.
  • Initiate and manage billing procedures ensuring deposits and credit applications are received with complete information and within required timeframes.
  • Conduct pre-conference meetings with clients and relevant departments to ensure all event details are clearly communicated and executed.
  • Maintain and update the conference database ensuring accurate records of key contacts and client information.

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:      

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or events industry is required
  • Strong knowledge of Opera Sales & Catering and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve problems effectively
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
