Job Title: Windchill Developer

RolePurpose:
- The PLM Team part of Technology Development plays a key role in establishing the SKF Purpose Together we re-imagine rotation for a better tomorrow. by enabling the SKF Business Community in the management of the Technical Product Information in the best way. As part of the PLM team the Application Services team is accountable for ownership maintenance and support of all applications within the PLM Portfolio.
- As a Senior Windchill Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing Windchill PLM software solutions that meet our business requirements. You will play a key role in the full development cycle including requirement analysis design coding testing deployment and support.
KeyResponsibilities
- Design develop and implement Windchill PLM solutions based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems.
- Customize Windchill applications using Java Info*Engine and Windchill APIs.
- Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Document technical designs and ensure knowledge transfer.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain documentation for system software.
- Stay updated with the latest Windchill features and technologies.
Key Skill & Knowledge Profile:
- Understand Basic Concepts of PLM
- Experience in basic and advanced Windchill / PDMLink customization
- Experience in handling development activities for projects
- Knowledge of Windchill Data Model and Rest Services
- Ability to create reports using query builder
- Basic knowledge of any database (Oracle SQL servers)
- Working knowledge of any Bug tracking & End user support tool
CandidateProfile:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Windchill development.
- Proficient in Java JSP XML and SQL.
- Knowledge of Windchill PDMLink; experience with Windchill customization configuration and administration.
- Knowledge of Windchill APIs and Info*Engine tasks.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
