Position Overview
Join Micron as an Intern Engineer contributing to developing and analyzing digital and analog circuits. Collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of new product opportunities by assisting with the construction layout and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits
- Perform parasitic modeling and aid in developing validation reticle experiments and tape-out revisions
- Coordinate and manage the layout process including floor-planning placement and routing
- Execute verification processes using modeling and simulation with industry-standard tools
- Collaborate across teams to drive standardization and ensure group success
- Work with cross-functional teams (Marketing Probe Assembly Test Process Integration Product Engineering) to ensure manufacturability
- Proactively engage with Standards CAD modeling and verification groups to enhance design quality
- Drive innovation for future memory generations in a dynamic environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Solid understanding of digital and analog circuit development principles
- Experience with industry-standard simulation and verification tools
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python Perl) for automation
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in memory development or semiconductor industry
- Familiarity with parasitic modeling and layout optimization techniques
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration in product development
- Attitude to innovate and propose process improvements
