PART-TIME ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT
What you get to do:
Youll be responsible for performing all general maintenance of rides in order to provide a safe environment for guests and team members alike. Were looking to you to make sure our rides are good to go! You will:
- Inspect and repair general lighting and power circuits as well as miscellaneous electrical devices
- Install lighting and receptacle circuitry in existing structures as well as in new additions
- Learn and participate in daily ride inspections
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services
- Provide support in troubleshooting problems with mechanical electrical and pneumatic equipment
- Consistently practice safe work habits including but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
What it takes to succeed:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license and ability to obtain a park drivers license
- Ability to provide and use basic hand tools
- Ability to pass all ride competency tests and obtain certification
- Must be able to frequently lift push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills and basic math abilities
- Ability to walk uphill and work on heights above 150 feet
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand walk and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather
- Flexibility in working varied hours including weekends evenings and holidays
