About the Role
Were looking for a Developer to join our Data Acquisition team. This role plays a key part in building and maintaining the systems that power our real-time data delivery. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy reliability and speed of the data we provide to our customers.

What Youll Do:
In this role youll take ownership of key responsibilities that help drive team and business success. Your day-to-day will include:

• Develop test and deploy software solutions that consume and process data from diverse sources
• Ensure data integrity and accessibility through robust validation processes
• Collaborate with the team to maintain clear documentation for all developed software
• Support data-related customer issues in partnership with the Client Services team
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rotation for critical data acquisition support
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing
• Build strong relationships across the Data Acquisition Client Services and Content teams
• Mentor junior team members and support their technical growth

What Youll Bring:
Were looking for someone with the skills experience and mindset to thrive in this role. Ideally youll have:

• Strong experience with at least one core programming language (e.g. Python Java Scala)
• Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Comfort working in a Linux/Unix command-line environment
• Practical knowledge of networking concepts (HTTP APIs)
• Familiarity with CI/CD testing methodologies and Agile development
• Experience with Docker
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• A proactive collaborative approach and eagerness to learn

Nice to have:

• Experience with web automation frameworks like Selenium or Playwright
