Description
Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid.

The Medical Materiel Specialist - Level I shall include but are not limited to general warehousing tasks customer support requisition shipping receiving building medical kits inventory management Quality Assurance (QA) and cargo preparation and deployment to include medical controlled items stored in a secure location operation of various materials handling equipment and utilizing updating DoD MMIS records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the logistical oversight and inventory management of the 27 Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise to ensure precise SLEP/DMLSS statistics and effectively communicate all SLEP related updates to affected units AFMED and NGB/SGX.

Conduct monthly reviews and provides monthly reports to the COR of SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program compliance.

Contractor also functions as Logical SLEP coordinator.

Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Track and document the usage of medical materials.

Assist in the procurement of medical supplies and equipment.

The position is designed for a Medical Materiel professional with a skillset critical to performing program management and oversight effective communication at all levels integrated collaboration and strategic readiness reporting.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Travel
Travel may be required for this position.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of logistics field experience (preferably in Medical Logistics); be familiar with and able to navigate/utilize MMIS.

Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment is preferred.

Must provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States without an employer sponsored visa.

Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance.

Salary
$ 15.00 to$ 17.50 perhour

Work is performed mainly in a warehouse or distribution center.

The area may be noisy dusty or involve exposure to fumes from forklifts or other equipment.

Temperature can vary some warehouses are climate-controlled others may be hot in summer and cold in winter.

Regularly lift carry push or pull items weighing 2550 lbs (sometimes up to 75 lbs with assistance).

Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift (often 812 hours).

Frequent bending kneeling squatting and reaching to pick up or place materials.

May involve using ladders step stools or order pickers to access shelves.

Repeated motion of scanning sorting or packaging of materials.
