Description

Location: Remote One position based on the East Coast one on the West Coast
Travel: 50% or more (domestic travel required)
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

About the Role

Katmai is looking for two experienced Program Managers to join our team one located on the East Coast and one on the West this role youll provide leadership and direction for programs that directly support the U.S. military. This is a high-impact client-facing position where youll oversee contract operations manage teams across multiple locations and ensure mission success.

What Youll Do

  • Manage and maintain Contractor interface with the senior levels of the customers organization.
  • Consult with customer and Contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules costs and contractual obligations.
  • Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show management and customers project progress.
  • Oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks and assume the initiative and/or provide support to marketing personnel in identifying and acquiring potential business.
  • Prepare edit and route awards actions utilizing the Improved Awards Processing System or other means of submission.
  • Assist in developing and tracking the execution of staff/division budgets and assist in the creation of funding requests or coordinating cross-organizational travel funding.
  • Provide calendar management initiating and monitoring schedule/meeting requests and prioritizing these requests.
  • Participate in meetings and take minutes capture all action items and forward the minutes to the appropriate person for distribution.
  • Assist in the preparation publication and distribution of briefing materials associated with the execution of meetings/ events.
  • Facilitate Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) special advisory boards and on-site and off-site working group meetings.


Requirements

What Were Looking For

  • Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Administration (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Office proficiency; familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience: Background in Navy or military training programs curriculum development and classroom/site survey design is highly valued.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship generally required).
  • Leadership: Ability to organize and assign responsibilities to team members while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Navy or military experience strongly preferred.
  • Skilled in program administration scheduling and planning.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized adaptable and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.

  • Pay range: $90000 $140000 annually
