Position Summary:

The Regional Medical Assistant Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and supporting Traveling Medical Assistants (TMAs) across multiple clinic locations within a designated region. This role ensures that MAs are properly trained follow clinical protocols maintain high-quality customer service and meet operational standards. The Regional Coordinator acts as a liaison between TMAs and leadership ensuring consistency compliance and efficiency across all sites. This role will require roughly 60% of time spent completing administrative duties and roughly 40% providing evaluation support in the field. This split is subject to change at the discretion of the Director. This position requires a fixed schedule of Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday. The schedule assignment will be provided based on department need at that time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Leadership & Oversight

  • Provide Day of Evaluation support to Traveling Medical Assistants across regional clinic locations.
  • Serve as the point of contact for TMA-related questions and issues
  • Assist with the onboarding training and evaluation of TMAs.

Training & Development

  • Deliver the MDpanel training programs to ensure clinical competencies and compliance with protocols.
  • Completes all in field training for new hires and signs off skills check prior to new hire entering the field.
  • Conduct regular skills assessments and recommend performance improvements.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Monitor adherence to clinical workflows infection control and safety protocols.
  • Conduct audits of documentation and checkout practices.
  • Confirm all checkouts for the day have been completed within their region and escalate all Salesforce tickets to the SF team.

Operational Support

  • Collaborate with TMA Leadership to ensure adequate TMA coverage.
  • Assist with inventory control and supply ordering as needed.
  • Ensure standardized procedures and policies are being utilized across clinic locations.
  • Completes site checklists with photos for their region monthly.

Communication & Coordination

  • Partner to facilitate training sessions for MAs.
  • Communicate changes or escalations on the Day of Evaluation to Care Team and TMA Leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Traveling Medical Assistant; at least 1
    year in a supervisory or coordinator role preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with incredibly strong attention to detail
  • Minimum of two years of office management or applicable experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and CMLS portal


Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Normal office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.This role will require consistent travel to clinics withing the assigned region. This role may require extended hours to meet deadlines or resolve urgent issues.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that an associate must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position may require prolonged sitting extensive computer use and frequent typing. Additionally it may also require the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 40 pounds.

The salary range for this position is provided as an estimate based on current market conditions and company benchmarks.
