This position has a sign-on bonus of $3000 with a two-year commitment for eligible employees

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Ensures the placement of patients into beds in accordance with physician service patient accommodation needs and patient preferences.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilizes the EPIC registration demographic to capture metrics necessary for all aspects necessary of bed control. Collaborates as a team-based member to deliver best patient care with physician practices and extended care facilities and the patient transfer notification process. (40%)
  • Utilizes effective communication with all personnel to ensure highest quality in bed control. (40%)
  • Ensures proper procedures regarding all aspects of bed control are followed. (20%)
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Completion of medical/secretarial transcription program or equivalent
