Job Summary
Residency Requirement:
- Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years (required for federal background screening)
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Required Experience:
- 7 years of IT experience
- Hands-on experience developing test plans test cases and test matrices
Required Technical Skills:
- Selenium WebDriver and test frameworks: hybrid keyword-driven data-driven
- Scripting in Java for test automation
- Strong knowledge of SQL queries
- Eclipse IDE for test development
- Experience with Gradle or Maven for dependency management
- Version control with GitHub
Nice to Have:
- CI/CD integration tools like Jenkins
- API Testing with Postman
- Understanding of HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with Selenium Grid
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills able to present test results clearly
- Problem-solving mindset able to write maintain and debug test scripts independently
- Works well in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment
- Self-driven and adaptable to evolving project needs
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop execute and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
- Analyze test outcomes and report defects
- Collaborate with the Scrum team to refine requirements and test coverage
- Participate in daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives
- Manage and maintain test environments and test data
- Stay up to date with industry best practices in test automation
Not Looking For:
- No UFT tool experience
- No .NET development focus
- Not a role for someone who only runs existing scripts must be able to create and maintain them
