Job Summary

Job Description: We are a small clinic that currently has three MDs two mid-level providers (one NP and one PA) and four nurses. We give medication and vaccinations for patients with hematologic disorders and supportive medication for oncology patients. We provide venous access to patients prior to patients receiving chemotherapy chemotherapy titration and for monitoring and treating hematologic disorders. We are looking for candidates that are fast learners and easily adaptable to fast-paced environments. Important skills for potential candidates include proficient skills in the following: PIV insertions peripheral blood draws PICC dressing changes medication administration (oral IM subcutaneous intradermal). A preferrable skill would include proficiency of performing phlebotomies ( inserting PIV and withdrawing larger amounts of blood ex. 500ml etc) and accessing ports. Requirements: RN- Registered Nurse of California BLS- Basic Life Support Healthcare provider ACLS-Advance Cardiac Life Support 2 years experience Shift Specification:5x8 Days 0800 - 1700 M-F; No weekends required most holidays are not required if any holidays are required you will be informed. There are no on-call shifts. There is a possibility of floating. If floating occurs it will be to other clinics in close proximity. However we aim for the travel position to solely work at Oncology/Hematology location.
