We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Tahlequah OK. This opportunity is ideal for a Physician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
Position Details
- Title: Emergency Medicine Physician
- Location: Tahlequah OK 74464
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a 7p / 7p 7a) 3 shifts per week (mix of days/nights)
- Hours: 12 hours per shift
PAY RATE: $150/hr-$200/hr
Requirements
- Active Oklahoma medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician in Emergency Medicine (preferred)
- Family Medicine Physician with strong ED experience will be considered
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care setting
- ACLS PALS BLS certifications required
- Comfortable treating patients of all ages with both acute and chronic needs
- Flexible and reliable Physician available to work nights weekends and holidays
Practice Details
- Patient Volume:
- Combined ED UC: 200 230 patients per day
- 2.5 3 patients per hour per Physician
- 16 22 patients per Physician per shift (depending on acuity)
- Coverage:
- Double Physician coverage every shift
- 24/7 Pediatric and Hospitalist support in-house
- Specialty backup: Orthopedics STEMI call ENT Podiatry Nephrology (no inpatient dialysis) OB Behavioral Health
- Cases: Typical ED acuity mix
- System: Cerner Electronic Health Record
