RN - Intermediate Care (Day Shift)

Location: Utica NY 13502

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12-Hour Day 6:30 AM 7:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 - $2340; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience in Intermediate Care Units such as IMCU or PCU to join our team on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have experience with travel nursing and must be proficient with EPIC EMR. This position requires floating to different units as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care in the Intermediate Care Unit.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
Administer medications and treatments according to hospital protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Accurately document patient care in the EPIC EMR system.
Float to other units as assigned.

Required Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU; travel nursing experience and must be documented.
Current AHA BLS ACLS and NIHSS certifications.
Proficient in EPIC EMR documentation.
Active NY RN license and all RN licenses.
Willingness to float to different units as required.
