Responsibilities

Located at Community Regional home to the regions only Level I Trauma Center and comprehensive burn center our Radiology team plays a vital role in delivering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist I I youll join a collaborative procedural team working alongside physicians to support a wide variety of cases ranging from routine diagnostic angiography to complex vascular and therapeutic interventions.

  • Operate advanced imaging equipment including single and bi-plane fluoroscopic angiography systems ultrasound and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) to support safe precise and efficient procedures.
  • Assist with device management and case preparation while ensuring quality standards routine equipment checks and performance improvement initiatives are met.
  • Perform a wide scope of interventional procedures from routine diagnostic angiography to complex vascular non-vascular and therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians nurses and technologists as part of a multidisciplinary team fostering a safe environment and contributing to the best possible patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology Cardiac Cath Lab or Surgical Services
  • Annual demonstration of independent interventional radiologist proficiency

Licenses and Certifications

  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
  • CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • CRTFP - State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit
  • ARRT - American Registry Radiologic Technologists
