This is for an Autonomous Truck Integration and Validation Engineer on our 2nd shift team.
- Hands-on experience with large machines: Gain practical knowledge and expertise in working with heavy machinery in real-world scenarios.
- Understanding autonomy systems: Develop a deep understanding of hardware software and customer usage related to autonomous systems.
- Test and validation planning: Learn how to design and execute comprehensive test and validation plans for autonomous systems and machinery.
- On-machine testing: Acquire skills in conducting on-machine testing to ensure system functionality and reliability.
- Data analysis: Build proficiency in analyzing data to derive insights and improve system performance.
- Collaboration with software developers: Enhance communication and teamwork skills by interfacing with software development teams to align technical requirements.
- Customer interaction: Gain exposure to end customers understanding their needs and feedback to improve product design and functionality.
- Team Structure: 31 team members but will have more interaction with onsite expert operators. They will be interfacing over teams meeting with Peoria software developers.
Work Schedule: 2nd shift: 1:30pm-12am Monday-Thursday
- Training will be on 1st shift (9 months) before moving to 2nd shift. 1st shift hours will be 7am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday Friday (7am-3:30) with every other Friday off. (9/80 schedule)
