Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards Cleanroom: no hair products jewelry makeup nail polish perfume exposed piercings facial hair etc... allowed Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C Fluctuating Temps hot/cold Laboratory Setting Office Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses gowning gloves lab coat ear plugs etc.) Standing for full shift Strong Odors (chemical lubricants biological products etc.) Warehouse Will work with hazardous/toxic materialsJob Description
Maintain production schedules 48 hours ahead of deadlines.
Perform detailed product inspections verifying SKU LOT and quantities.
Handle and process temperature-sensitive materials in accordance with SOPs.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure daily production goals are met.
Satisfactorily complete Thermo Fisher Scientific training requirements on time and operate within all ISO GMP and FDA standards pertaining to Frederick Site Manufacturing Operations.
Address and troubleshoot issues with a focus on accuracy and detail.
Ensure strong attendance and punctuality.
May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Skills and Abilities
Proven ability to consistently and independently follow policies and procedures instructions and to meet production schedules.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Basic digital literacy such as proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to support the operation in its daily functions.
Education and Experience
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- 1 year experience in cGMP environment
