Position Summary
We are seeking a Business System Analyst to support functional and regression testing for automated systems ensuring compliance with client business practices and policies. The analyst will play a key role in testing enhancements to existing applications new system implementations and validating system integrations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and regression testing of new and existing (legacy and vendor) systems to validate performance compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Create update and execute test cases based on system requirements and project documentation.
- Analyze and document business and system requirements including objectives functions features inputs and outputs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify project scope objectives and approaches.
- Maintain comprehensive testing logs including test results issues identified time tracking and tool deficiencies.
- Review and validate user documentation for accuracy prior to release; report discrepancies and recommend corrections.
- Identify document and escalate system problems root causes and potential solutions.
Qualifications
- 5 10 years of experience as a Business/System Analyst or Software Testing Analyst.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with functional testing regression testing and test case creation.
- Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable test plans.
- Strong documentation analysis and communication skills.
