You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs a Staff Project Manager within the Documentation Services org you will own project management of associated work queue processes and vendor management. You will define the direction for your project area(s) by working with R&D to understand priority as well as partner with other key stakeholders including product managers writer managers and technical writers to bring to life documentation solutions to meet those needs!
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Review and maintain the assigned work queues aligned with your project area(s) to:
Ensure work requirements are appropriately documented.
Process and prioritize technical documentation and illustration requests in a timely manner to align with project roadmaps and org priorities.
Identify communicate and address risks related to execution of work.
Collaborate closely with key team members to understand organizational strategy major projects significant opportunities and customer difficulties.
Educate and align collaborators on established processes to ensure compliance to org standards.
Effectively communicate with customers about work requirements statuses strategies priorities and critical issues.
Collaborate with collaborators to build dashboards and key success metrics for managing projects monitoring operations and improving transparency.
Align with established processes identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement where appropriate.
Maintain and achieve KPIs and goals related to your projects(s) taking proactive and remedial actions as needed.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Who You Are:
You design processes and procedures that allow managing from a distance. You deal comfortably with organizational politics. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one small and large groups or among diverse styles and position levels.
For This Role You Will Need:
Bachelors degree in related field.
3 5 years of proven project management experience.
Strong English language competency.
Exceptional communication and time management skills as well as attention to detail.
Ability to build and maintain critical relationships through excellent collaboration skills.
Ability to lead through changing situations.
Ability to make and own key decisions while balancing input from collaborators.
Strong capacity for implementing change dealing with ambiguity and providing creative solutions without sacrificing sustainability and scalability.
Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in an environment with changing processes and priorities.
Knowledgeable of technical documentation/illustration standard processes.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Technical writing experience
Understanding of relevant methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
