Welcome to VELUX where technology is not just a tool but our playground. You will join the global IT & Digital Enablement (IT&DE) function working with 7 skilled colleagues in the IT Infrastructure team. We are on an exciting journey to modernize our infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and you will be central to this transformation.
What we offer
As Solution Architect you will design and manage end-to-end IT solutions that support business needs while ensuring scalability and performance.
More specifically your tasks will be to:
- Design and optimize Nutanix Windows Server and SQL Server environments.
- Drive infrastructure modernization and automation.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate IT solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
- Lead the transition to IaC using tools like Terraform and Crossplane.
- Oversee deliverables from our outsourcing partner.

What you will bring
You have hands-on experience with HCI (Nutanix) VMware Windows Servers and SQL Server and a strong interest in evolving traditional infrastructure into IaC-driven solutions.
Moreover we expect you to have:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar senior role.
- Deep knowledge of Nutanix (or similar HCi solutions) Windows Servers and SQL Server.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Crossplane is a plus.
- A passion for infrastructure modernization.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
