Job Summary

Dr. Domotors Animal House is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. This busy 3-doctor hospital has a dedicated team of Registered Veterinary Technicians Veterinary Assistants and Client Support Specialists to provide exceptional care to the dogs and cats in the surrounding community.

Sign-on Bonus up to $2000! Relocation Assistance Available for Qualified Candidates!

Salary: $28.00 32.00 per hour depending on experience education certifications licensure and location.
Additional Incentives: $1000 continuing education allowance with paid CE days License reimbursement
Schedule: Full-time Five 8-hour shifts per week. Some Saturday coverage is required. Closed Sunday and Major Holidays.

Who You Are:

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in California or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire
2 years of veterinary clinical experience as a veterinary technician or assistant
Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
Passion for working with animals and their owners
Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to perform complete dental prophylaxis with radiographs
Skilled in IV Catheter placement urinary catheter placement applying casts bandages and splints
Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation monitoring pre-operative and post-operative care
Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation; Idexx laboratory equipment
Diagnostic experience including digital radiology dental radiology and ultrasound-guided cystocentesis
And all other duties of a Registered Veterinary Technician as allowable by law
