Responsibilities
- Responsible for the direct supervision of technical staff.
- Assists the Manager in providing effective performance feedback through employee recognition rewards and disciplinary action.
- Helps lead employees to meet the organizations expectations for productivity quality and goal accomplishments. Provides input on how policies and procedures may be streamlined to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the slot department. Prepares periodic reports for management as necessary or requested to track strategic goal accomplishments.
- Above normal understanding of PC hardware/ software in order to troubleshoot and repair faulty gaming related equipment.
- Hands-on experience implementing slot floor game upgrades & slot relocations.
- Responsible for slot database (SDS) accuracy and maintenance.
- Responsible for supervising the installation of Class II and Class III systems including servers switches player terminals player stations etc.
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
- Safely and effectively operate basic shop tools.
- Has a basic understanding of the parts ordering and inventory systems.
- Maintain proper documentation on department training shift repair and PM logs.
- Consistently use machine entry reports to identify and/or prevent future equipment problems.
- Helps maintain cleanliness of workshop project areas and overall gaming floor.
- Responsible for slot project area safety barriers are in place and safety guild-lines adhered to.
- Plans coordinates and implements projects under the supervision of the Slot Manager.
- Documents measures and provides post project summaries.
- Posts a weekly gaming and project summary report.
- Work nights weekends and holidays as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be guest service oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment dealing with sensitive issues and maintain confidentially with strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain professional courteous and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.
- At least three years of experience in slot machine functionality and basic electronic/mechanical background required. (Additional experience preferred)
Qualifications & Requirements (cont.)
- Experience in supervising staff and managing projects preferred.
- Advanced experience with LnW SDS MEI and STM preferred
- Experience in Windows MS Office Programs (Word PowerPoint Excel) and experience with database systems. Ability to prepare reports correspondence charts forms and other information and instructions.
Certificates Licenses Regulations
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75-85 pounds. Requires repetitive movement daily with sedentary work occasional bending and crouching. This is a 24 hour 7 days a week work operation.
