Job Summary:

Rita Sound Assistants work in the area of sound for events in the Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for the Arts & Humanities with the Sound Manager to help prepare operate and maintain the sound equipment. Hours are scheduled per event and maintenance needs. Applicants should have a basic understanding of sound systems cable coiling recording and sound mixing.

Responsibilities include:


Set up operate and take down sound systems for events/concerts


Organizing and maintaining the sound inventory and storage spaces


Mixing for live streams concerts and presentations


Communicate with others well and work with a variety of personalities


May involve light to medium lifting and working at heights

Both Work Study-eligible and non-Work Study students are encouraged to apply.
