Position Overview:
The Corporate Account Sales Representative is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans to drive sales growth and improve gross profit margins across assigned corporate accounts. This individual builds and manages key relationships with customers and suppliers collaborates with internal teams and ensures aligned communication and service excellence. The role requires a strong technical and consultative sales approach a focus on delivering value and effective coordination across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute individual corporate account plans to retain and grow business.
- Coordinate activity with Sales Reps and Sales Managers to support budgeting and goal setting.
- Identify at-risk business and new conversion targets; coordinate internal resources to drive results.
- Build strategic relationships with suppliers and act as a technical resource to internal teams.
- Lead coordinated communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure unified service.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and issue escalation using company core values as guiding principles.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (e.g. CSR pricing credit buyers) and supplier contacts to align efforts and support customer needs.
Expected Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in composites manufacturing or sales.
- Proven experience in value-based or integrity selling and contract negotiation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and resolve issues diplomatically.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Skilled in building and maintaining productive relationships with customers suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams; SAP experience preferred.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Strategic and tactical planning abilities (short to long-term).
- Customer service mindset with a track record of anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to recover from service failures and build long-term customer loyalty.
- Experience aligning supplier relationships to deliver win-win outcomes for all parties involved.
Travel:
- Up to 40% travel is required.
