Job Summary
Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital is looking for a Locums Psychiatrist to fill their need!
Schedule:
Sporadic coverage for the remainder of 2025. Starting January 2026 the need will be FULL TIME with one weekday call and 1 and 4 weekend call.
Weekday coverage
Monday - Friday (8a-5p)
Call Schedule: 5p-8a unrestricted call if able

Practice Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Department
Average Number of Patients Per Day: 12
Total Number of Beds: 27
Number of Psychiatrist in the Group: 5
Number of Advanced Practice Providers Support: 6
Number of Psychologists: 0
Locum Tenen Psychiatrist Required to Supervise Other Healthcare Providers: Yes Psychiatric NP
Describe Referral/Transfer Protocol: Referrals primarily coming from Muskegon and Grand Rapids EDs
Safety/Security Measures in Place: Staff duress system security on site 24/7
No pediatric patients
EMR: Epic
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 3 months but need ASAP
