This is a hybrid role and requires to be on-site in Towson MD three days a week.

The Job:

As a Project Manager Packaging with extensive project management and leadership experience particularly in Packaging. Where you can make an immediate and lasting impact on products and end users. Youll be part of our Tools and Outdoor Team working as a hybrid employee. Youll get to:

Leads & Drives Complex Packaging Projects with a significant focus on product packaging manuals and labels across the organization.

Driving focus and delivery to project timelines.

Take complicated initiatives and breaking them into actionable sub-projects to drive progress

Summarize project for top level management reviews.

Summarize project progress to drive action from team members.

Reports out business metrics and statistics on projects.

Works closely with the Packaging Team and Engineering Excellence regarding projects that need to be discussed at the higher level (stop start continue).

Working with Key stakeholders - Strategic Planning Leader Platform COO. Vertical Leaders Brand CEOs Chief Engineers Packaging Leader.

Tracks key KPIs - Project Status on Time On Cost Measures Capex Plans and Status Project Resource Utilization / Spend per project.

Develop and implement a performance management system that monitors the success (i.e. rating) of ongoing manufacturing training programs and takes action to adjust where necessary.

The Person:

Bachelors degree (Package Engineering strongly preferred)

10 years of experience in Product Development within Packaging or a relevant industry.

Personal experience running complex projects from beginning to end.

Experience working across different cultures and time zones

Ability to travelglobally as needed.

Owns the Execution of Projects under management.

Establishes / Leads key business rhythms to drive success.

Comfortable speaking up as the neutral party to drive the best business outcome.
